Who we are

Hungry Table (hungrytable.in) is a restaurant discovery website for Guwahati, built and run by Lumenoid Studios, Guwahati, Assam, India. This policy explains what information the site handles and why.

Information you give us

Contact and listing forms: your name, email, mobile number and the details you type. We email them to our team so we can reply.

Restaurant accounts: name, email, mobile number and a password, which we store only as a one-way hash. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in.

Restaurant content: details, menu items and photos that owners submit. We review new listings, edits and photos before they appear publicly.

Table requests: if a restaurant switches this on, the name, mobile number, party size, date, time and optional note you enter are stored and sent to that restaurant so it can call you. A request is not a confirmed booking. We also keep a one-way hash of your connection address to limit spam.

Information on your device

Restaurants you save with the heart button are kept in your browser on your device. We do not receive them.

Third-party services

Pages load fonts and icons from Google Fonts, jsDelivr and the Tailwind CDN, and some profiles show Google Maps. Instagram reels load only when you open one. These providers can see your IP address and browser details when their content loads. Our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs.

Google user data (restaurant owners)

Restaurant owners can connect their Google Business Profile. We ask for the business.manage permission, plus your email address so we can show which account is connected.

We read the names of the accounts and locations you manage, and for the location you link to a restaurant we read its average rating, its review count and recent reviews (reviewer name, star rating, comment and reply).

We use this only to show your Google rating on your Hungry Table page and to show recent reviews to you in your dashboard. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to anyone else, and we do not use it to train AI models. Our team does not read it unless you ask us for support or it is needed for security or to follow the law.

Your access and refresh tokens are encrypted when stored. You can disconnect at any time from the Google Reviews page in your dashboard. That revokes our access at Google and deletes your stored tokens, links and cached reviews. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Hungry Table's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep information

We keep account, listing and table request information while the restaurant account exists, and delete it when you ask us to or close the account. Google data is deleted when you disconnect.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or close your account, by writing to us through the contact form. We will reply by email.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its date.
